I love to do nursing homes.
I get the feeling that I'm one of the few things that come to them, to make them happy.
Otherwise, they're confined to that facility, and being able to bring some joy to them.
I'll give you an example. I did a show with this one nursing home. And the lady in charge was there. And she said to the group, wasn't rich, wonderful.
Would you like to have them back again, and they all said, Yes. And one man says, Let's have him tomorrow. I'll never forget that he really meant it.
And so when you hear those things, these are the things that make you feel good, keep you going, that you're helping people out in, in one way or another, at least bringing enjoyment for the hour that you're there to entertain them.
And I make them laugh, I get them involved. It's just wonderful. And I don't know if they have much of that in their facility.
I know musicians will come and sing songs to them.
But getting them to interact with the magic.
Just wonderful.
